幼いころから母親の指輪やネックレスを見ては目を見開き、宝石店には必ずついていき、ジュエリーに並々ならない愛着を寄せていましたが、

▪ジュエリーがライフワークになったのはずっと後のことで、昭和生まれの娘は父親の命令に従うことが当たり前の時代で大学は経済学部でした。

▪20代はテレビ報道部でニュースキャスターの仕事、デザイン雑誌で海外の各分野当代一のクリエイターの仕事論に迫るインタビュー記事を多数書き、また、ラジオドラマのシナリオやファッションブランドのカタログコピーを書いていました

▪30代は多くのクリエイター、アーティストのルポルタージュで培った人脈を基にデザイン企画の仕事を始め、国内外の素晴らしいアーティストや建築家と海外高級リゾートのグランドデザインの仕事を数多くやりました

▪古くから知る編集者さんに『あなたは若い時から、ずいぶんと年上の40，50歳を過ぎた女性の成熟した魅力や美しさについて語っていたね』と。それは、1970年代Yunagiがまだ十代で、最も多感で吸収力が旺盛の年頃に日比谷映画街に通い、フランス発祥のヌーベルバーグのフランス映画を、片っ端から観たことに起因しているのかもしれません。今、つくり始めたLakeishaは、情熱的に生きた時間を持ち、深い悲しみも経験し、懸命に生きてきた大人の女性の深みのある表情に似合うジュエリーです
